Good

Once again, the Poke'-Stalin is looking good here. You should stay with using custom drawn pictures of the Poke'mon instead of Ken Sugimori's drawings (the ones you usually see in the guide books) because it makes each episode a little more original.

Elite-Sniper responds:

There are more "Special Edition" episodes to come, like the one you are referring to (ep. 009). Thanks for your opinion! :)

Not bad

Butterfree Stalin looks good. Your photo editing skills seem to improve a little each episode. I agree with some other reviews that the music is rather calming.

Elite-Sniper responds:

Thanks :) I'm glad you like it.

Once more, sweet

Everyone was unsure how the Metapod episode would turn out, but it looks like it came out just fine, even a little better, than what we all expected! The way Stalin turned out here actually doesn't look half bad. Once more, sweet job with choosing the music!

Elite-Sniper responds:

;) Glad you liked it. I was a tad worries about how this one would turn out to be honest, but it seems to be receiving pretty good vibes for the time being. Thanks for your review!

The plot's too familiar

Not bad with the sprites. You deffinately know how to use them well. Your story idea isn't bad, but it's too much related to the Sonic Battle game. I mean, sure, it's your own ideas for the fact this robot is going to be the "ultimate weapon," and that it doesn't want to live for its purpose as much, but that's sorta how Sonic Battle goes: a 5,000 year old robot, known as "Emerl" from Sonic & pals, whom was originally built to destroy by obtaining all the Chaos Emeralds (which Emerl craves for) decides to live differently. Like I said, good story idea, just too much close to Sonic Battle (at least, what this trailer has taught us).

gunnchief responds:

Well, the story is actually this:

After Emerl's defeat, two unknown professor's make a clone of Emerl and fix the clone (Also stopping the power overload problem) They also built a lot of Emerl's Move Database inside the robot. They name the clone Phi-Zero and put it through testing to see how powerful It was, however when they put Psi-Zero on a mission to collect the emeralds, something triggered inside him and he betrayed the two professors and went to achieve full power of the emeralds. This plot takes place after Sonic Battle of course, but you're right, the trailer doesn't show what I said strongly enough, however I'll start on the first episode soon.

You shouldn't rate your reviews a 1 just because you haven't asked me the plot. I hate reviewers with dumb dramatic scores

Hmm...

I'll admit Caterpie Stalin isn't the most mind-blowing "Poke'-Stalin" I've seen. But then again the forms don't look as cool until the final evolutionary form for that Poke'mon. You still chose a good background and song regardless, so keep up the good work.

Elite-Sniper responds:

Thanks for your review and opinion :) . You're correct in assuming that the final evolutionary stage of each Pokémon will look the best. This is because those seem to contain the most detail, and it has been this way so far in this series. I hope you find this series enjoyable as it continues, and stay tuned for the next installment of 'Joseph Stalin:RAI69+D'.

More like a storyboard

I can understand that you want to show some ideas you have, but really, this animation still looks like it's under development. Not to mention the whole thing's about 10 seconds long.

Nigel-of-the-Drakes responds:

It's actually a pencil test. That's the entire project. I just put it on here to see if it could pass judgment. And it did. So my mission was accomplished.

I like this one!

This so far is the best episode of Stalin:RAI69+D I've seen so far. The drawing of Blastoise really goes well with the background, and the music was once more well chosen.

Elite-Sniper responds:

Thanks for your positive feedback. Matching the background and music to Blastoise's water-type disposition was a priority in this episode, which seems to have worked out just fine. I;m glad you enjoyed this submission, and I hope you stay tuned for the rest of the series :) .

Amusing

There's nothing more I can say other than, "another good job." I like the music you chose for this episode as well as the Squirtle one. While I would slightly agree maybe a little animation of the released Poke'mon would be nice, simplicity is all that's really needed to get the point across for this series, which may be why it's so popular. I look forward to seeing the next episode.

Elite-Sniper responds:

I'm glad you appreciated this one. As for the music, I try to make it relate to the theme and Pokémon element type of each episode. I hope you enjoy the rest of the series, and thanks for your opinion and review :) .

nice

With a snap of the fingers, here's another episode! This one took a little longer to load, but I do like the music compared to the others. It is fun coming to Newgrounds the next day with a new episode to look forward to. Are you trying to eventually have Stalin release all 493+ Poke'mon there are out there?

Elite-Sniper responds:

I'm glad you enjoyed this entry. I'm also glad that you're enjoying the aspect of daily emissions with this series. I'll PM you to respond to your concerns regarding the length of this series, but for the time being, stay tuned for the following episodes of "Joseph Stalin:RAI69+D', and I'm looking forward to your reviews in the future! :)

Apologies...

For those who have read my reviews for the Venusaur and Charizard (especially the Charizard one) episodes, ignore them. I was rather tired when writing a review for them and really should have used my brain at that time. After watching a few of these episodes, they actually aren't that bad; in fact, you sort of warm up to the series. It is rather catchy what this is a spinoff of. Not to mention the pictures for the released Poke'mon are sorta cool. I still will stay with my opinion that perhaps you should include more than one Poke'mon per episode, but nonetheless, sorry for being such an idiot over this series.

Elite-Sniper responds:

Your first mature, and well delivered review :) . You seem to have caught onto the mood of the series, and presented some opinionated, supported facts. Although I do not intend to change the manner of presentation for this series, your opinion and suggestions are appreciated, and your apology accepted. Stay tuned for the next episode of 'Joseph Stalin:RAI69+D'!
